Amazon Seeks City Permission to Start Drone Delivery in Early 2027

The Kenton Neighborhood Association has recently learned that Amazon is getting ready to apply for a building permit for a Prime Air Drone Delivery Center at its same-day fulfillment facility at 1001 N Schmeer Road.

We are concerned about how the drone deliveries could impact residents in North and Northeast neighborhoods. We are actively engaging with other neighborhood associations, monitoring the status of the upcoming Pre-Application Appointment with the City of Portland, and gathering more information.
