Fall 2026 Plant Fair

The Native Plant Fair on October 4th was a lot of fun! Over 500 Kenton and North Portland residents came to the Kenton Firehouse for learn about native plants and ways to support healthy habitat, get their soil and other items tested for lead, and take home free plants. By the end of the day, volunteers gave away 700+ native plants to 291 households, Peninsula Elementary, and the Kenton Women's Village.

Here’s what people said about it…

“THANK YOU! I put my plants in the ground immediately after pick-up. They were perfect. Larger than expected and sooooo healthy.”

“Thanks so much for the plants, the seeds, and the community information! This was really a nice treat.”

“It was really rad to have all those resources in one place.”

“Great to have free seeds and lead testing too. Thank you!”
