The Kenton Community Rose Garden is looking for volunteers to help keep this beautiful community space in tip top shape for the summer.
Where: N Interstate Ave & N McClellan St (across from Peninsula Pet Clinic)
Who: Anyone interested in lending a hand to keep this community space beautiful and in bloom — No experience or green thumb required!
What: Pruning and deadheading roses (learn how, if you’re new to rose care). Wear a hat and long-sleeved shirt. Bring a water bottle, gardening gloves, and clippers (if you have them).
How: No need to RSVP — Just show up! Ask for Taffy or Adele to get started.
